McLaren Engineering Group is proud to give back to the local community with numerous programs and events throughout the year. From our 15 years of consecutive support for the Tri-State Engineering Expo to our bi-annual campaign supporting roadside cleanups in our community, we are happy to contribute to the neighborhoods where we work.
In 2021, our Salvation Army Christmas Angel Tree program in New Jersey generated gifts for 50 underprivileged children. Our “CANstruction” event in Albany, New York helped supply a local food bank with 3,737 cans of non-perishable items. Support for local events in New Jersey range from 5K fundraising runs to family-friendly Oktoberfest events. In Maryland we supported the first Junior Achievement of Central Maryland’s ‘INSPIRE’ career fair, introducing numerous middle school students to careers in STEM.
You’ll find McLaren staff volunteering their time mentoring local robotics teams, serving on nonprofit boards ranging from Rutgers University to The SS COLUMBIA project and actively involved in industry organizations such as Urban Land Institute, The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) among many others.
