McLaren recently provided structural and marine engineering services for the construction of two five-story residential buildings above a concrete parking garage structure at Boston’s East Pier!
This 288,000-square-foot project was originally designed as a steel-framed structure, but was redesigned by McLaren through a value engineering exercise using wood frame construction, significantly reducing construction costs. The new luxury apartments feature spectacular views, oversized windows and all tenants will have access to an indoor pool with an outdoor sundeck!
