Curtain Drop Reveal
TD Bank at One Vanderbilt

A dramatic curtain drop unveiled TD Bank’s new NYC Flagship store last month, officially debuting the financial institutions highly anticipated move to One Vanderbilt in Midtown Manhattan.

Working with BNW Rigging, our entertainment team assisted in the reveal by structurally engineering the outdoor, temporary truss assembly made up of three self-climbing truss towers with a connecting massive L shaped header truss wrapping around the corner of the building. The header carried a lightweight fabric kabuki curtain designed to drop and reveal the storefront behind with the iconic slogan “Only One New York. Only One Vanderbilt.”

The team also provided expedited NYCDOB permitting services to ensure the temporary event went off without a hitch.
