Project Milestone

Groundbreaking Ceremony for the 45-40 Vernon Boulevard
Development in Long Island City

We’re celebrating the official groundbreaking of the 45-40 Vernon Boulevard project in Long Island City! This multi-use waterfront development is set to revitalize Western Queens, and the recent groundbreaking event marks a major milestone in the transformation.

McLaren Engineering Group is playing a critical role in this exciting project, providing essential engineering design and permitting services through our Civil and Marine Engineering teams including stormwater management design, bulkhead upgrades, and outfall installations.

The event brought together key stakeholders to celebrate the start of construction, and we’re eager to see this project unfold as it breathes new life into the Long Island City waterfront.
