This week’s renaming ceremony transformed Cort Theatre into James Earl Jones Theatre and unveiled a new look for the historic landmark.
The iconic Broadway structure, built in 1912, underwent a massive $47 million restoration and renovation which integrated a modern Annex expansion.
McLaren was the Engineer of Record (EOR), providing a full range of structural, entertainment, civil, geotechnical, survey, and signage engineering services for the project.
The team also helped convert the theater’s antiquated hemp rigging system to a modern counterweight system in the stage house.
