Construction is scheduled to begin on THREE LIGHT, the newest urban-luxury residential tower in Kansas City. The redevelopment of a surface parking lot in Missouri’s Power & Light District, THREE LIGHT, will be transformed into a 26-story mixed-use development consisting of 288-unit apartments atop a seven-story parking garage which will connect by skyway bridge to its shorter sibling building, TWO LIGHT.
McLaren, who was also behind the 24-story award-winning, TWO LIGHT development, is providing full-service structural engineering design services for THREE LIGHT using a similar design approach, constructed as a concrete post-tensioned flat plate structure with concrete shear walls.
Imagined by Hord Coplan Macht and developed by Cordish Companies, THREE LIGHT is expected to be completed by 2023.
