A significant construction milestone has been reached at the Housing Opportunities Commission (HOC) of Montgomery County’s new headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland. Designed to achieve LEED Platinum certification, the building includes a hearing room, customer service center, office spaces, and various amenities for staff and visitors, advancing the HOC’s mission of providing housing and support services.
Our structural team collaborated closely with Design Collective, Inc. to develop the structural framework for this nine-story, 82,000-square-foot office building. The project incorporates LEED Platinum standards by utilizing sustainable materials, including utilizing lower carbon cement and recycled steel reinforcement.
