Campus Transformation

Mercy University Reveals
Entrance Renovation

Mercy University’s Westchester Campus in Dobbs Ferry, NY recently underwent a remarkable transformation, redesigning and enhancing its main entrance on NYS Route 9. The renovation, aimed at fostering a stronger sense of community on campus, includes a redesigned entrance, an open-air pavilion, and a pollinator garden.

Sustainable Engineering

As part of the main entrance redesign, McLaren provided civil engineering services adhering to the University’s commitment to sustainability. These services included a new signalized intersection with a dedicated turn lane, stormwater treatment features, the development of a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), utility relocations, and close coordination with the NYSDOT. McLaren also conducted State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (SPDES) inspections for the pavilion, cross walk, and parking lot as part of our construction support services.

This fall, the campus has a fresh new appearance to greet the newest class of students!
