NJ Industrial Redevelopment Wins
Project of the Year

McLaren Engineering Group’s Multimodal Processing Plant has been awarded the ASCE New Jersey Project of the Year!

The project included configuring the site to accommodate a concrete plant, an asphalt plant, and concrete recycling plant. Additionally, a new spud barge was constructed in the Passaic River to accommodate deliveries of raw materials from barges floated to the processing plant along the river.

Located in Newark, NJ, this former chemical plant was transformed into a state-of-the-art asphalt and concrete processing facility along the Passaic River waterfront. Working alongside The Stavola Companies, McLaren provided multidisciplinary engineering services involving our Survey, Civil, Marine, and Geotechnical Engineering teams, ensuring the success of the industrial redevelopment.
