Post Avenue Bridge Replacement
Awarded 2018 Project of the Year

McLaren’s Post Avenue Bridge Replacement project was named 2018 Project of the Year by the Long Island Branch of the ASCE recently. McLaren helped replace the $9.7M railroad bridge in Westbury, Long Island with design-build partner Halmar International, and team members LiRo and HDR. The new bridge was replaced in 36 hours with self-propelled modular transporters (SPMTs), increased roadway clearance, and made room for the planned third track.
