Wildlife Conservation Society Run for the Wild
Bronx Zoo 5k

Our McLaren team led by entertainment engineer, Matt Saide, PE, took a step away from the usual zoo engineering projects to support them in a new way. Matt’s Maniacs ran the Wildlife Conservation Society’s (WCS) “Run for the Wild 5k” at the Bronx Zoo raising $1,300 for WCS’s mission to establish and manage parks and reserves aimed at protecting local wildlife, specifically focusing on raising money for snow leopards this year. Their fundraising efforts ranked them 18th out of over 100 teams. Other McLaren participants included Elena Helvajian, PE, Nadia Itani, Katie Dozzi, Mike Troise, Issy Block, and Paul Owens.
