NYSTA Yonkers Cashless Tolling
Conversion and Road Improvements

The New York State Thruway Authority completed the first phase of the Yonkers Toll Plaza all-electronic cashless tolling conversion project, just in time for Thanksgiving holiday traffic! This first part of this project included the implantation of the electronic toll collection equipment and associated road improvements. The remaining phases, which will be completed in the coming months, will include the Yonkers, NY toll plaza removal and the establishment of a high-speed roadway. As the lead design firm our Albany, New York City and New Jersey offices collaborated providing design, project management, and construction support services.
