This former warehouse is currently undergoing an adaptive reuse transformation to create a mix of 100+ apartments and over 25,000 square feet of commercial space in Albany, NY.

Drone Inspection and 3D Digital Twin Modeling

McLaren conducted an on-site drone survey and developed a 3D visual model of the centrally-located landmark cold storage facility to perform an initial condition assessment of the exterior walls. The drone survey replaced the need for a close-up, hands-on survey, saving the owner time and money while maintaining the same or even higher level of detail.

Assessment of Albany Warehouse

Based on our initial assessments, the remediation of the structure, which has remained abandoned since the early 1990s, will involve removing certain exterior elements and performing minor strengthening of its interior components.
