Pfizer Fit-Out – The Spiral Hudson Yards

15 floors of Hudson Yard’s new 65 story commercial tower, The Spiral, undergoing a corporate fit-out to accommodate Pfizer’s new headquarters in Manhattan’s Midtown West. Our construction engineering group worked with United Structural Works to provide Specialty Structural Engineering (SSE).

Pfizer’s Monumental Stairs

The team assisted with the miscellaneous metal design for a variety of items throughout the build-out space, including eight unique monumental stairs. For the stair engineering design, the team used finite element analysis employing RISA-3D software. Additionally, analysis using SAP-2000 software for serviceability limits associated with human induced vibrations was performed at each stair run.

Erection Engineering For Fit-Out

To further support the client, we provided erection engineering services for the design of many shoring and rigging systems throughout the Pfizer renovation for installation.
