McLaren Engineering Group has worked with White Plains Hospital since 2008 on the reconstruction and renovation of their 32-arce campus in White Plains, NY. Projects have included construction of a new lobby and 6-story surgical and patient building addition to the center for cancer care, the new Center for Advanced Medicine & Surgery, improvements to streetscapes, parking garage, roadways, and master planning for future facilities. These projects allow White Plains Hospital to continue as a significant healthcare facility for the city and region.
McLaren performed civil and geotechnical engineering, survey and construction inspection services for the White Plains Hospital’s complex renovation. McLaren, working with the hospital and project team, has been challenged with addressing critical issues including construction phasing, complex utility and infrastructure, and site constraints – all while maintaining ongoing hospital facilities. McLaren and the project team, have seen this approach work in the successful completion of multiple projects including the utility relocation for a 9-story medical office building.
